WE WISH WE HAD CALLED GREG SOONER!
We had been dealing with internet crashes daily (sometimes more than once a day) We had slow internet and glitching internet.
With four people either working or attending school from home we were obviously losing our minds.
Greg was recommended to us.
He arrived promptly, was polite, practiced safe social distancing and best of all he FIXED IT!
We now have super fast internet speeds and haven't had one issue.
Also, Greg explained everything to us, helped install our mesh system and even dealt with Spectrum!!!!

He single-handedly helped untangle a very complicated situation with my email server between my email service and my domain name company.  He was even able to orchestrate communication on a conference call with Google, me, and Network Solutions.  In a single day he triaged and got the problem resolved.  (I had been struggling for a week with no email before that).  On my own, I couldn't get a human at Google. And Network Solutions refused to help. He figured the problem out and was able to talk to both companies (at the same time!) and get them to work together to solve my problem!  I'm looking forward to using AppleHelpLA in the future for my technology maintenance.

Greg is FANTASTIC!  He did a much better job than any of the techs I have worked with before.  To invite someone into your home and into your computer and phone requires trust, and is risky. Greg was very expert, friendly, and made me feel relaxed right away. Definitely trustworthy!

"I contacted Greg, the owner of " AppleHelpLA " already twice and was extremely satisfied with his services."
I was able to get an appointment with him within 24 hrs. The first time he made  a slide show movie on iMovie based on my directions , he was very competent, and knew the program in detail.  He finalized the movie the same day, and I was very very pleased with the result .

More recently I had some really challenging problems with my wireless network.  I  spent  6hrs ( yes ) on the phone with Apple Technical support and things were almost in the same state at the end. I decided to contact Greg for this new issue. He was able to come to my place the next day and fixed the problem within 2 hrs as well as secondary issues I 've had for a while. He is very knowledgeable about Mac products, cooperative, very friendly, patient and always gives you great advices on how to improve computer related matters.

I'd be lost without Greg at Apple Help.  He set up my Mac and tailored it to all of my working needs, making all of my tasks simple to perform.  He also set up my Epson Pro, and taught me tricks I'd never have learned on my own.  Whenever an issue arises he comes to my rescue. He knows his stuff...and I have yet to find a piece of technology he isn't well versed in, whether computers, iPads, printers or spaceships.   Seriously, I can't recommend Mac Apple Help and Repair highly enough.

I was very satisfied with Greg's work . . . He assessed my networking issue and resolved it very quickly. When my Mac froze up and the spinning pin-wheel wouldn't go away - my good friend gave me the number to Greg - the MacApple Help Master!  Greg is a great person to know - friendly, professional and accommodating are just a few words to describe him.  My laptop went away with Greg for the long weekend and when I got it back it had a new hard drive - more memory - and was completely backed up. Greg@macapplehelp delivered true 5-Star Tech Support.. BETTER , FASTER and SMARTER than any in LA.  Here are the facts from Sat.  My Mac mail stopped accepting all emails (gmail &yahoo) 10:00am I realize it, (cue waves of panic) 3:00pm I sit down to fix the problem myself, just a setting thing right? 5:00pm I have typed smtp at least 1000 times by now. still haven't figured out what's wrong or what "smtp" means. 6:00pm I have been cut off from the world for almost 8 hours now, (alternating waves of panic and hyperventilating) its Sat. I can feel the work emails stacking up somewhere out there, and then those friends who expect instant response think Im mad at them, and those emails are just piling up...Im about crack, but I get a grip

6:05 p.m. I go to my google, nobody available, then...(cue music swell) I get a hold of Greg, he's at a clients, I make sure he hears the panic in my voice and he says he can swing by when finished. He showed up, on time, deciphered my explanation of the problem, got right to business, and BOOM One email, then 10 emails, then the flood gate opened (cue big music swell) He was so fast and efficient, I really, really couldn't believe it.  He explained what to do, how to train my spam blocker (I didn't even know I had one!) and even got my Airport working again, a problem I kinda slipped in the pile once he got here. The dude rocks no BS, Fast efficient, didn't make me feel stupid (SNL) Bottom line he really knows his MAC. and doesn't waste your time. For someone like me completely dependent on my Mac for business and personal communication, finding great tech service is paramount. MacAppleHelp IS IT. DONE.

On 6/06/12 I received an email reminder from Greg at Mac Apple Help and Repair, regarding my need to move my MobileMe account to iCloud, if I had not done so, already, and offering to assist with this if necessary. I thought Greg was the Mac person, who assisted me last fall in setting up my new computer. As Apple had been sending these reminders in the form of a "countdown," I "assumed" I would attend to this with time to spare. Never assume. The last two months have been particularly challenging, and, sure enough, I had waited until the afternoon of 6/30/12 to attend to this (Apple set the cutoff time at 11:59 pm).

I should say that I'm not particularly savvy, with respect to computers, and when I began trying to move my MobileMe account to iCloud, I was inundated with so much information or things I was suppose to check/backup, I went into a fetal position. I remembered receiving Greg's email on 6/06/12, and immediately searched for his contact info so I could send out an SOS! Greg provided not only his email address, but, also, his cell phone number, and it's when I read that his cell number began with a (310) area code, that I became curious, since the person I worked with last fall lives in Sherman Oaks and I was certain his area code was (818). I called Greg's number, and sent him an email. He responded in record time, especially considering that it was late afternoon/early evening Saturday. The first comment he made to me was, "Are you still living on Corinth," which meant the Mac person I worked with four years ago, not last fall, sent me this important reminder! The tech I worked with last fall had not even bothered.

After exchanging additional pleasantries, I explained to Greg that I had waited until the last minute to make this critical move, and he immediately committed to assisting me. At first, he thought this might require a house call, which would have meant traveling from West LA to Sherman Oaks. Fortunately we were able to do this by way of a "screen sharing session," and within a reasonable, yet very involved period of time, my MobileMe email account had been safely moved to iCloud. This was very important as there were many items, saved within Mail, that I could not afford to lose, and there wasn't enough time to backup all of this. The cost of doing this was very reasonable, as well.

To summarize what I consider to be the most important points in this admittedly lengthy review, they would be as follows:
1) The fact that Greg sent me a reminder of this need to move to iCloud, in spite of the fact that we had not spoken in four years.
2) Without a moment's hesitation, and without prior notice, Greg committed to making certain that I was safely moved to iCloud, which was very involved due to things I had not addressed on my end, and did this in the most cost efficient way for me.
3) Last, but certainly not least, throughout the entire time we worked together that evening, Greg was, both, sympathetic, and sensitive to my situation - never hinting, and/or, reminding me of what an idiot I was for waiting until the eleventh hour to deal with this matter. He could tell how badly I felt, and how panicked I was.
Greg reminded me of how SERVICE once was, when this word had true meaning, and people respected their roles in it. I know I'm gushing, but I was just so impressed by all of this.

Going forward, "I would not consider working with anyone else. I'm just so grateful to Greg/Mac Apple Help and Repair for coming to my aid."
